We specialize in hunting with hounds, offering a unique and thrilling style of bear hunting that sets us apart from traditional methods. For those who prefer a different approach, we also offer spot-and-stalk bear hunts.
All of our bear hunts take place in the fall, when conditions are ideal and bears are active. If you're after a big color-phase boar, Arizona is one of the top destinations in the country.
Our method is simple but effective: run hounds in the morning, then glass for bears in the evenings—maximizing your chances of high success and giving you an all-day pursuit of your trophy.
Nevada Mountain Lion Hunts – Year-Round Guided Cougar Hunts with Expert Houndsmen
Ira is a true houndsman through and through, dedicating his entire life to training and caring for his dogs. From the age of ten, he knew his calling was to become an outfitter.
With over a decade of experience as a licensed guide, outfitter, and master guide across Idaho, Arizona, Wyoming, and Nevada, Ira’s expertise spans multiple big game species. Yet, his true passion has always been mountain lion hunting.
For more than fifteen years, he’s carefully developed his bloodlines to produce some of the fastest, coldest-nosed, and best-tempered hounds around—all tracing back to the legendary dry ground dogs of the Southwest.
What drives Ira most is the journey of nurturing a young pup, watching him grow, and ultimately guiding him to catch his very first lion.

All our hunts require over-the-counter licenses and tags, making the booking process simple and stress-free—with one exception: Nevada black bear hunts.
