Fully Guided Fall Black Bear

Hound/Spot and Stalk Bear Hunts

If you're after a large, color-phase boar, Arizona is the place to be. Our hunts combine the excitement of running hounds in the mornings with spot-and-stalk glassing sessions in the evenings.

Each day begins at first light as we leave camp in search of fresh bear tracks to turn the dogs loose on. Once a bear is treed, we’ll hike in for a close-up look and decide if it’s the right bruin to harvest.

Depending on seasonal food sources, evening stalks can also be highly productive. Some units open as early as the second week of August. For bowhunters, there's an archery-only season running from late August through September. Most rifle hunts take place in October.

These high-energy hunts are packed with adventure and offer the kind of memories—and stories—that last a lifetime.

Archery Black Bear Hunts

If you're looking to knock down a giant Arizona bruin with your bow, there are some killer opportunities out here. Same proven tactics—cutting tracks at first light to run hounds, then glassing and putting on stalks 'til dark. It’s raw, it’s real, and it’ll test your grit.
