Ira is a true houndsman through and through, dedicating his entire life to training and caring for his dogs. From the age of ten, he knew his calling was to become an outfitter.

With over a decade of experience as a licensed guide, outfitter, and master guide across Idaho, Arizona, Wyoming, and Nevada, Ira’s expertise spans multiple big game species. Yet, his true passion has always been mountain lion hunting.

For more than fifteen years, he’s carefully developed his bloodlines to produce some of the fastest, coldest-nosed, and best-tempered hounds around—all tracing back to the legendary dry ground dogs of the Southwest.

What drives Ira most is the journey of nurturing a young pup, watching him grow, and ultimately guiding him to catch his very first lion.
